I feel fortunate to have lived and worked in the beautiful Canadian Rockies for most of my life. I live in Invermere, British Columbia where my wife and I have raised two wonderful sons. I thrive on many things, but wilderness adventure, whether it's in my own backyard or throughout the world is very high on my list.
The driving force for my photography is that special connection I get with my subject, no matter what it is, nor how brief it may be. For me, the most important part is actually my experience and feeling at that moment of capture. To be able to use my creativity, and share this moment with the world, is the icing.
I have spent a good part of my life in wilderness settings while working for National Parks in the Canadian Rockies and as well, as a guide-outfitter. My wife and I have been professional framers for five years, and I continue to custom print for clients which has helped me further develop my skills.
